What gets answered fastest
- A wrong or outdated date. This jumps the queue ahead of everything else. Include the page and what the official source says — a link to the agency page helps most. The page’s “last verified” date updates when we fix it.
- A permit system we are missing. We track 17 and know that is not all of them. Tell us which one and where it is documented.
- A gap we have flagged. 7 entries have known holes listed on the permit calendar. If you have the official source that closes one, we want it.
What we will not do
- Paid placement. No one can buy a recommendation, a ranking, or a mention. Pitches for sponsored posts get a polite no.
- Apply for a permit on your behalf. We tell you when the window opens; the application is between you and the agency.
- Give you a decision on conditions or safety. Closures, weather and trail conditions come from the managing agency, and they change faster than any site can track.
